Opportunity: Clubhouse Manager at GGC

Gosnells Golf Club, located just 25km from the Perth CBD in Canning Vale, is one of Western Australia’s premier sporting clubs, boasting a championship golf course and outstanding member facilities.  Since its formation in 1943, the Club and has hosted numerous State and National Amateur golf events.

The Club is undergoing an exciting period of development with a view to attracting and engaging not only our membership base, but the entire community through investment in our food & beverage operations, external events and functions.  We seek the services of a motivated, organised and dynamic hospitality professional to help us achieve this objective.

Reporting to the General Manager, the role will have direct responsibility for the management, leadership and supervision of the Club’s food & beverage operations and the maintenance of the clubhouse.  This role will suit a hospitality management professional that is looking for a fulfilling challenge in an outstanding service focused and member based working environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the day to day running of the food and beverage department working closely with the Head Chef and service team
  • Responsible for all areas of food and beverage service and the service experience
  • Developing and maintaining strong and sustainable relationships with members, their guests and visitors
  • Financial planning and producing invoices
  • Communicating, planning and coordinating external events & functions

In addition, the role will involve:

  • Managing staff to ensure service levels are consistent and of the highest possible standard
  • Staff recruitment and ongoing staff training 
  • Driving revenue by maximising opportunities 
  • Roster preparation and approval of timesheets in accordance with club processes
  • Stock rotation and ordering, including a monthly stocktake
