Members,
Signature events for the club are being held over this weekend – the Gosnells Senior Open yesterday [21st April] & Gosnells Open this weekend [22nd & 23rd April]. The Grounds staff have done an amazing job and spent countless hours in arranging for the course to be presented in its best possible condition. Yet we have had two instances last Saturday & Thursday where members who were unable to control their frustrations have taken divots out of the greens. These members have tried to hide behind anonymity & not report their actions to the General Manager or anyone from Match, Greens or the Board.
We believe we have identified the group responsible for the divot last Saturday morning & will be speaking to them shorty. We strongly suggest that the member or group responsible for the divot on Thursday self-report immediately. Playing partners of the group know who committed the divot. You may not want to dob in your mate, therefore speak to this person & have them contact the club. Please do the right thing by the club.
It is best to self-report any damage on any day as that will definitely go in your favour, rather than being questioned on the matter.
Members, this is your course, we are doing our best to present it in the best condition possible each & every day yet we are hampered by individuals who believe they can do what they like to the course. This is not acceptable.
