Men’s Div 2 Results – Sunday 18 June
Final team Score – Gosnells GC 4 ½ – Kwinana GC 2 ½
Josiah Edwards – Started slow going down early in the first few holes but settled down in a tuff match winning 2 /1
Andrew Woods – Starting without a caddy for the first two holes. It was a steady performance by Woodsy. His putter was hot winning 2 /1
Dan Barnett – Steady as a rock at number 3. Playing solidly coming out with a half.
Cian McGarvey – Cian never played or seen Lakelands GC before. But that wasn’t a problem solid performance ( Clinical) winning 6 /4
Adam Elwell – Played well with a seesaw match right to the end going down 2 /1
Don Mclean – A grinding day for Don. Another seesaw match as well, unfortunately going down 3 /2
Paul Chrystal – Best Number 7 in the competition. Straight and long all day winning 2/1
We are on top of the ladder with 2 wins from two rounds.
The next match is in Mandurah GC, teeing off at 12.20pm. If you’re in the area, come and support the boys and Club.

Men’s Div 4 Results – Sunday 18 June
Another bunch of tough matches for the Div 4 Boys at Hartfield, again on paper we were up against it playing Bunbury.
There were some tough losses for
Nathan Willis going down 6 and 5
Randell Heng going down 8 and 6
Adrian Blount going down 7 and 6
Mason Burr didn’t have his good stuff on the day and lost 5 and 4
George Ledger fought back to tie it up going down 18 but a lost ball (with about 14 people searching for it) put and end to his run
Josh Kader played well and redeemed himself from last weeks bungle and had a solid 6 and 5 win
I put a decent round together with a Captain’s knock 3 and 2 win
It was good to see when our players finished their match, they got on bag of our guys still playing and showed great support for each other.
Both our losses have been to the top of the table teams so now its time to regroup, practice and start a fight up the ladder which begins at Royal Perth next Sunday.

Men’s Div 5 Results – Sunday 18 June
This week the Division 5 team took the short trip down to Bunbury to play a match against Mandurah.
With Adrian playing in Div 4, young Connor took his spot in the middle order of our lineup and unfortunately came up short losing 2/1.
After a winning start to his season, Wayne fought his way to the 17th but lost his match 3/1 to Mandurah’s captain.
In the other matches, Lee won his match at number 2 (3/2), John won the battle of the veterans (5/4), Duds came away as the better Greg (3/2), and Kai (6/4) and I (2/1) beat a pair of Jimmy’s.
The drive home was a bit more tolerable with a win under our belt and we’ll look to consolidate this win at home against Hartfield next Sunday.

Men’s Div 6 Results – Sunday 18 June
We were unlucky yesterday, that’s golf I suppose. I need a player for next week please. Is Woodsy available?
Great to see the Division 2 boys are flying and a great win for Jordy’s boys too.
Narrow loss for Division 6
A disappointing day at Secret Harbour as we went down to 4-3 to a strong Bunbury side. Great wins for our new team members and a few narrow defeats for our top order.
We’re still in the mix, early days.
Scores as follows:
Matt Haines lost 3&1
Gerard Lougheed lost 2&1
John Connor lost 2up
Johnson Taylor won 4&3
Simon Podesta won 5&4
Rod Western lost 3&1
Cecil Yorke won 4&3
