Gosnells GC 4 v The Vines GC 3
We travelled to Hartfield GC to play an unknown Vines GC team for Round 4 :
Josiah Edwards – Back from touring Queensland at Number 1 . Played well ..Played with a smile on his face all day . Winning 5 /4
Andrew Woods – Fought the golfing gods all day ..Going down 6/5
Dan Barnett – Played extremely well .. late fight towards the end going down 2/1
Cian McGarvey – Had the ball on a string all day total control of his match winning 5 /4
Adam Elwell – Battled throughout the match. Lead was shared all day .. late fight towards the last few holes. Going 1 down
Don Mclean – The old man of the team teaching the youngster he was playing the art of match play winning 4/3
Paul Chrystall – Mr 7 continuing his merry way winning his last 6 holes in a row winning 5/4
Round 5 is played at Melville GC against Melville GC next Sunday. Please come and support us.

Men’s Division 5 Results
Gosnells GC 2.5 v Bunbury GC 4.5
On Sunday the Div 5 team took on the current ladder leaders Bunbury GC at Royal Perth.
Four of the seven matches were close and the other three matches ended quite early, unfortunately only one of those matches were in our favour with John winning 5/4. Connor couldn’t back up his performance from the previous week, losing 5/4, and Lee was gutted with his 4/3 loss, made even worse by his opponent getting a hole in one early on in the match.
Playing at number 7, I won my match 1up after turning 2 down.
Kai and Duds suffered the same fate losing 2/1 on the 17th green with both lads having the opportunity to extend the match – Duds left his putt short and Kai’s opponent hit the flagstick to leave a tap in rather than the awkward chip that the shot probably deserved.
Wayne fought on gallantly not knowing that the match was over, as he came from behind to half his match with a solid putting display on the last two holes.
Much like the Dockers, our hopes of making the finals aren’t over, however, a minor miracle may be required.
