Our 2024 Junior season will start on Sunday March 17th and run through to Sunday November 24th. We have some key information following including:

Monthly Medal Dates
Our monthly medal dates will include 18 hole, 9 hole modified stroke, 9 hole Tiger Tee and 5 hole Tiger Tee events.

- August – Junior Club Championships (11th & 18th)
- September 8

Junior Club Championships 2024
We have moved our Junior Club Championships to August to be completed before course renovations and anticipated course work to be carried out later in the year. The two round event will be held on the 11th and 18th of August, the same dates as the GGC Senior Club Championships.
We suggest all juniors reserve this date in your calendars and season planning.
Order of Merit calculations (updated for ’24)
We are making some minor modifications to how the Order of Merit points work for 2024.
For a regular round please see table 1 below. Please note no points will be awarded if the field size is 8 or below. Points will also be slightly reduced for a field size from 9-12 competitors.
Monthly Medal and Marquee rounds will attract a 30% increase to points for the event, please see table 2 below.
Club championships will have points awarded for the final scores (or the two rounds) based on Stableford points. In 2024 we will NOT award OOM points for each individual round. Please see table 2 below
Monthly Medal Champion of Champions Competition
For 2024 we are introducing a new concept for our Monthly Medal winners. On our season ending date, Sunday November 24, we will run an additional playoff competition (within the days regular competition) for all of the 2024 Monthly Medal round winners.
The winner of this event will be our 2024 Monthly Medal Champion of Champions and receive a new trophy with thanks to Paul Wee.
This will be a fun new initiative and the winner will get to retain a perpetual trophy at home until the 2025 season opening day as well as a permanent trophy to keep for their efforts.
Special Events for 2024
We will have a number of special events for 2024, similar to our home and away event with WAGC last year. These will be updated here shortly and communicated to parents in our regular emails.
