
Congratulations to our GGC juniors on another very successful junior pennant season.
The Club fielded 6 junior teams for the 2025 season, 3 boys and 3 girls sides. In a highly successful season, we had 4 of the 6 sides advance through to play off for pennant titles, 3 of them emerging victorious to bring the Club home pennant flags. Well done to all of our juniors who represented the Club in the right spirit over the course of the season.
Boys Division 1
- Round 1: GGC 3.5 defeated Royal Perth 1.5
- Round 2: GGC 3.5 defeated Joondalup 1.5
- Round 3: GGC 2.5 halved WAGC 2.5
- Round 4 (Grand Final): GGC 1.5 defeated by The Vines 3.5
The Club’s top ranked boys side topped their group to advance to the Division 1 final searching for ultimate boys pennant glory for the first time since 2022. Although falling short in the decider, the team had a great season on course and were worthy runner-up champions.
Girls Division 2
- Round 1: GGC 1 defeated by Royal Fremantle 4
- Round 2: GGC 3 defeated Mount Lawley 2
- Round 3: GGC 0 defeated by Royal Perth 5
- Round 4 (Finals): GGC 3 defeated Mount Lawley 2
In a very competitive girls Division 1 competition, our top ranked GGC team fell short against both Royal Fremantle and Royal Perth but managed to oust Mount Lawley 3-2 twice, finishing third.
Boys Division 2
- Round 1: GGC 3.5 defeated Hartfield 1.5
- Round 2: GGC 4 defeated Bunbury 1
- Round 3: GGC 3 defeated Lakelands 2
- Round 4 (Grand Final): GGC 4 defeated Mount Lawley 1
An undefeated perfect season for our Division 2 side saw them take out the Division 2 pennant with a comprehensive 4-1 win against Mount Lawley. Well done on a great season.
Girls Division 2
- Round 1: GGC 3 defeated Joondalup 2
- Round 2: GGC 3.5 defeated LCC/LKCC/The Vines 1.5
- Round 3: GGC 2.5 halved Mandurah 2.5
- Round 4 (Grand Final): GGC 3 defeated Joondalup 2
The division 2 girls team also managed an unbeaten season with 3 wins and 1 drawn match. In the pennant final they defeated Joondalup by a score of 3-2 to bring another flag home to the Club.
Boys Division 3
- Round 1: GGC 1.5 defeated by Nedlands 3.5
- Round 2: GGC 3 defeated Mandurah 2
- Round 3: GGC 3 defeated Royal Fremantle
- Round 4 (Finals): GGC 2 defeated by Royal Perth 3
After losing their first round match our Division 3 team responded with back to back 3-2 wins to qualify for the third place final match against Royal Perth, ultimately falling short to finish 4th for the division.
Girls Division 4
- Round 1: GGC 2 halved WAGC 2
- Round 2: GGC 3 defeated Royal Perth 1
- Round 3: GGC 3 defeated LCC/LKCC/The Vines 1
- Round 4: GGC 4 defeated LCC/LKCC/The Vines 0
The Club’s third pennant flag for the 2025 season was won by our Division 4 girls side who finished the season with 3 wins and 1 halved match, including a 4-0 victory in the pennant final.
