Our Division 3 pennants team had a very successful season finishing 2nd in a 7-team competition. Winning every round except against WAGC, the team finished 2nd with a total of 23.5 matches won and only 12.5 matches lost.

This is my report for our Division 3 pennant team in 2024.
Firstly, thank you to the club for all the work done prior to our hosting of Round 6 in sorting out the match play index. I would also like to thank the pro shop staff for their assistance and a special thanks to Brodee for his efforts on Monday the 10th of June. Also, thank you to Kymberley and Allan who assisted me with starting and marshalling.
This is our team photo (L to R – Jo Calvo, Jaedo Jun, Lyn Bennett, Ros McIver, Kymberley Wilson and Jan Rowling) that was taken in front of the lake at WAGC on the 17th of June, just prior to our final match against Melville Glades.
We secured a victory in our final match against Melville at WAGC, winning 5 to 1 to finish our season nicely.
Round 7 vs Melville Results:
- Kymberley Won 2up (giving 9 shots)
- Ros Won 4/2 (giving 10 shots)
- Jaedo won 1up (giving 11 shots)
- Lyn squared her match (giving 10 shots)
- Jan won 7/6 (giving 8 shots)
- Jo squared (giving 5 Shots)
Overall, for the season we had a 5/1 win rate, successfully taking 2nd place in the Division. WAGC won the Division going undefeated and our only loss was to them.
Congratulations to my team who have battled hard throughout the season giving lots of shots! They have been a credit to Gosnells Golf Club. Thank you also to Deb Callcott and Sunny Lee who filled in for us in the early rounds.
