Practice Facilities
An exceptional golf course needs quality practice facilities to set it apart and attract players eager to become better golfers. Gosnells Golf Club does not disappoint.
The Club has an extensive choice of areas for game improvement, allowing players to loosen up prior to teeing off, or to work on all areas of their game.
Here is what is available:
Iron Range – a 160 metre to 170 metre facility, adjacent to the Clubhouse, which is open early in the morning seven days a week. Buckets of balls are available to hire from the Pro Shop. Members and visitors are asked to observe signage on the range and refrain from using woods as it is an irons only range. The range is not open to the public – with exception for visitors playing on the day
Putting Green – close to the Clubhouse, it is a good size and kept in the same exceptional condition as those to be found on the course.
Chipping Area – a short chipping green with different levels and characteristics is located just below the Pro Shop.
Practice Bunker – to the right of the range, ideal for perfecting those up-and-downs that can save any round and which are a key component for players looking to lower their handicap quickly.
The driving range closes at 3pm every Thursday for a safe collection of golf balls on the driving range in preparation for range maintenance by course staff early Friday morning.
The range reopens for practice from 8.30am on Friday mornings.
