RE: City of Gosnells Ordinary Council Meeting (17 December 2024), agenda Item 13.2.6 being the PROPOSED RESERVE CANCELLATION, DISPOSAL AND AMALGAMATION - GOSNELLS GOLF CLUB, RUFFORD LANE, CANNING VALE

The meeting was attended by our Vice President, Chair of the Project Development committee, Rob Olde, who had the opportunity to speak in favour of the motion.

At the meeting it was resolved to allow the Minister for Lands to revoke the Management Order and cancel Reserve 26784 on Lot 690 and Lot 751. Further, the Council passed to request that the Minster for Lands dispose and Amalgamate Lot 690 and Lot 751 with Lot 443 currently owned by the Gosnells Golf Club Inc.

This news is the culmination of more than 2 years of work by the board, assisted by committee's and some long-standing members.

I want to thank the City of Gosnells officers and councillors for their support entrusted to the Gosnells Golf Club. I want to congratulate all those involved at the club from past boards to committees and those members who have personally been involved in this process for the past 30 years.

This news is fantastic for our club and paves the way for us to embark on a growth strategy with certainty.

This now provides the passage for the club to financially acquire the parcels of land. I will inform all members when we learn of this last stage.
