Hole in one - Aaron Paterson

Congratulations to member Aaron Paterson on his hole in one during last Sunday's stableford competition.

Aaron aced our par 3 4th hole, punching a 7 iron into a strong breeze before seeing the ball drop into the hole for his first ever hole in one. Well done Aaron!

Lawrie Bennett

Lawrie Bennett shoots his age

Congratulations to Life Member Lawrie Bennett on being the newest addition to the GGC shoot your age honourboard. Lawrie, aged 76, shot an astounding round of 74 (+4 over par) which included 3 birdies. His great round netted him an astonishing 46 stableford points and competition victory.

Saturday Order of Merit

The 2025 RSM Saturday Order of Merit (OOM) is four rounds in. Junior Ty Cleland currently has the lead with 255 points.

The winners of weekly Saturday competitions (AM & PM) will gain 90 OOM points. Points then decrease in increments of 3 down the leaderboards. At the end of the OOM season, the member with the most points will win $450 onto their Club prize account. The Club would like to thank RSM Australia and Club member Greg Dudley for the continued support and sponsorship of this competition.

Women's Order of Merit

After three rounds, Carol Bain is the current leader of the 2025 Women's Order of Merit.

Sponsored by the Club, women's OOM points are given out each Wednesday to the top ten place getters in the weekly women's 18 hole competition.
